My name is Meaghan, I’m a 20-something-year-old trying to find my way through this world. I’ve started this blog to help me navigate my way back to restored mental health, and on my holistic journey. I’m hoping to use this platform to follow my journey, but also to take you all along with me, to answer all the questions I had going in to these experiences and maybe any questions you might have too.
The main goals here, in simple terms are to: improve my overall mental health, my connection to my soul, my sleep, my eating and my overall physical health.
I’m currently working 20-30 hours a week at my hospitality job, I’m studying full time at university in my final year, I have a boyfriend (of 4 years), and like any other 20-something, I have a social life to juggle too. Finding a balance between these things is something I’ve been struggling with for most of 2019, but I think it stems back further than that.
In this blog, I’ll document every new experience I have with my mental health journey including professional visits e.g. GPs, Chinese/Eastern Medicine Practitioners, Acupuncturists, Yoga Instructors, Psychologists etc. However, I’m also trying to make it on my own, so I’ll include posts about what I’m doing in my every day life to work on these things too, like little side projects I set for myself.
